Waxing is a team effort!

The more you can do your bit before and after your treatment, the better the results will be.

Maximise results and minimise reactions by following the appropriate before and aftercare advice.

Preparation

Make sure the hair is long enough

I can't get out week old stubble even with the strongest of pliers. Please ensure your hair is AT LEAST half a centimetre long all over or the length of a long grain of rice.

Gently exfoliate

If possible, exfoliate your skin a couple of days before your wax with a shower puff or gentle scrub. This removes any dead skin cells and can help to release any trapped hair.

Lightly moisturise

Many people have dry skin which can making waxing more difficult. A light slick on a regular basis keeps the skin soft, hydrated and supple.

Step away from the razor...

Aftercare

Although you may be tempted to road test your nethers regions after a wax, avoiding sex on the day of your treatment is strongly advised.

Avoid chemicals

None of the following for 24 hours after waxing: make up (facial waxing), deodorant (underarm waxing), self tan, thick lotions that may block pores, scented body creams, perfume, chlorine etc.
